Dear Users,
Binance regularly reviews its product offerings to provide more valuable and advantageous services. Based on our latest evaluation, Binance will discontinue its Liquidity Mining service effective 12:00 (UTC+8) on January 19, 2024, and remove the following liquidity pools:
- BNB/BTC
- BNB/ETH
- BTC/ETH
- BTC/WBTC
- TUSD/USDT
- WBETH/ETH
Key Details:
- Service Termination: After 12:00 (UTC+8) on January 19, 2024, users will no longer be able to subscribe, trade, or redeem assets on Binance Liquidity Mining. All remaining positions in these pools will be automatically redeemed and transferred to users' spot wallets.
- API Deprecation: All SAPI and WSS endpoints for Liquidity Mining will be gradually deactivated starting 12:00 (UTC+8) on January 26, 2024. Users are advised to disconnect their systems from these endpoints before this date.
- Early Redemption: Users may manually redeem assets from the affected pools before the deadline. Post-deadline, any remaining assets will be calculated based on the pool's current composition and refunded automatically.
Important Notes:
- Removing these pools does not impact spot trading for the corresponding pairs (where applicable).
- No new liquidity can be added to these pools after 12:00 (UTC+8) on January 15, 2024.
- Liquidity pool positions may fluctuate due to compositional changes. Risks are disclosed in the FAQ and Service Agreement.
- For discrepancies between translated and English versions, the English original prevails.
FAQs:
Q: Will I lose funds if I don’t redeem before the deadline?
A: No. Remaining assets will be automatically redeemed at the pool’s current ratio and transferred to your spot wallet.
Q: Can I still trade these pairs elsewhere on Binance?
A: Yes, spot trading for these pairs (if listed) remains unaffected.
Q: Why is Binance discontinuing this service?
A: This decision aligns with our ongoing product optimization to prioritize high-value offerings.
We appreciate your support and understanding.
